ASSOCIATE, MERCHANDISING
Role Purpose
Provide accurate product sales forecast. Create a retail purchase plan which is in-line with the company target. Improve buying efficiency and stock turn of the Retail Business Unit. Ensure sufficient stock level in the stores. Coordinate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising team on key product launches. Provide product sell-through report with recommended action plan to improve the range offering in the stores.
Primary Accountabilities
* Prepare sales forecast for the retail segment. Identify business trends and translate them into sales opportunities in the store.
* Plan and select the range for stores to meet the open-to-buy budget. Track future season to ensure that pre-order is in line with the sales trend.
* Create customer profiling of each retail stores to ensure appropriate buy in all retail locations.
* Ensure that all products are properly launched/shipped , handled and displayed in the stores according to company standards.
* Create monthly product tracking reports according to Regional and SEA’s direction, together with all other necessary reports. Provide analysis with action plan for improvement.
* Ensure that all stores are properly merchandised. All merchandising and displays are in good conditions and in accordance with company standards.
* Establish strong coordination between retail and other departments ie Warehouse, Marketing, Sales, Finance in all product related matters.
* Manage inventory to ensure execution of action plans on fast and slow moving items.
Requirements:
* Min Bachelor degree
* Fluently in English
* Min 1 year experience in relevant field
* Strong analytical skills
* Proficient in the use of MS Excel
