Host Supervisor Buddhabar Jakarta
Responsible to: Bar & Lounge Manager
Responsible for: Day to day supervision for the Hostess
Job Description
Overall – Host Supervisor shall manage the working schedule for Host team and contribute daily report as well as Host duties on a rotational basis to cover the opening hours of Buddhabar Jakarta.
More specifically the role shall encompass various administrative tasks and the day to day management of the host area.
General Host Supervisory Duties
* To cover reception on a rotational basis during Buddhabar Jakarta opening hours
* To assist in any administrative task as required by Manager on Duty.
Administrative Tasks
* To manage weekly and monthly report to HR Department, specifically in attendance related matter.
* Responsible to assist the Manager on the brochures and flyers etc., and delegate in accordance within the Host team.
Day to day Host supervision
* To give training as needed for the Host grooming standard as well as product knowledge from time to time.
* To manage the Host area on a day to day basis, supervising the Host staff.
* To answer the telephone promptly and politely, telephoning guest (internal and external).
* To deal with guest at the front desk in a polite and courteous manner.
* To take reservation and make sure all the data filed in reservation book.
* To undertake the reservation floor plan and/ or other information needed.
* To guest contacts (regular and new) compile data from out of hour’s service.
Other Reception Area Duties
* To ensure that the lobby area is tidy and that brochures/ flyers are well stocked.
* To ensure that brochures/ flyers being displayed are appropriate and to remove any those are not.
