We are currently seeking potential candidates to fill in the following position:
SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Qualification:
* Male / Female, max 35 years old.
* Min. S1 graduate from any discipline.
* Min 2 years experiences in Shipping / Sea & Air Freight Forwarding industries.
* Strongly sales oriented for export-import sea, air, project.
* Fluently in English Oral & Written.
* Familiar with computerized system (MS Office).
* Hard working and work professional.
Job Description:
* Scope the market and identify potential freight clients from a) existing client base, b) potential new clients.
* Prepare client pricing proposals.
* Work closely with Freight Procurement department to secure freight suppliers (land, sea, and air).
* Collaborate with local management to manage the implementation of new freight and related projects.
* Translate customer’s freight requirements and information into process and documenting them into SOP.
* Together with Operation team to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the freight processes.
* Facilitate responses to customers in timely and effective manner.
* Build and ensure good customer relationship for long term business partnership.

I really believe, individuals (which means most IT professionals) don’t appear to recognise where job opportunities of tomorrow are going to come from. We’ve left the Information Age and entered the Information Overload Age. The next trend of job opportunities will likely be concentrated on solving that problem by converting the information into knowledge – otherwise, the information is worthless. Think about it, we’re creating so much data at this time that people lost the ability to keep up with it some time back. Systems (can you say “AI”?) will have to make this happen for all of us. If you wish to experience the following IT trend, I’d pay attention to artificial intelligence. Views anyone?
